We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Nurse to become Band 5 CAMHS practitioners to work within the Children and Families Directorate in Peterborough. This opportunity has arisen from internal promotion.

The successful candidate will be joining a motivated team who strive to ensure we provide a excellent service to young people aged between 8 and 17 years presenting with complex mental health needs and often high levels of risk. 

Our CAMHS team is staffed by experienced multi-disciplinary workers, including clinical psychologists, consultant psychiatrists, a family therapist and CAMHS practitioners from varying backgrounds. The Core CAMHS Team works alongside our Neurodevelopmental Team.

The successful candidates will work as B5 CAMHS Practitioner offering full assessments, formulation and evidence based interventions to children, young people and their families, who are experiencing mental health difficulties, in line with local and national guidelines.

You will also provide regular and on-going consultation, joint work, training and advice to other professionals in relation to child and adolescent mental health to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
