Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust are looking for an exceptional Band 6 Tissue Viability & Continence Specialist Nurse to join our talented and committed integrated community Team.
The trusts forward thinking, initiative way of working has created this dual role to improve clinical outcomes in the prevention of wounds and the management of tissue damage due to incontinence, pressure and other comorbidities as well as treating patients referred with bladder and bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
The post will be 37.5 hours a week and you will be required to travel county wide.
The role includes assessing complex patients in their home or in a nurse led clinic setting, participating in teaching and mentoring of other professionals, engaging in clinical trials and research and have an in-depth knowledge of wound care and continence formularies. You will be required to work closely with other stakeholders.
