Clare Lodge is a Secure Children's home that support young people who are admitted for welfare purposes
The post is within the assertive in reach health team which is part of the Children, Young Peoples and Families Directorate within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation NHS Trust.
We are a busy and energetic team providing a service to young people aged between 12 and 17 years presently living at Clare Lodge. The young people we support often present with complex health needs and high levels of risk.
It is an excellent motivated team, staffed by experienced multi-disciplinary workers, including clinical psychologist, consultant psychiatrist, nurses, occupational therapist.
The Health Team work closely alongside the residential and education teams to implement a therapeutic model across the whole unit.
The post holder will be required to provide health and emotional support to the girls and young women at Clare Lodge.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. You should possess excellent communication skills and be prepared to liaise with GP’s and other professionals as necessary.
